Whether you are running your own small business, working in partnership with others or the director of a larger company, commercial law can seem daunting and confusing without expert professional guidance.
Our commercial law team offers bespoke legal advice to private sector clients in the South Wales region and nationally. We regularly deal with businesses of all sizes, whether they are companies, partnerships or sole traders, in all manner of trades or professions.
If you want to form a new company or partnership there are a number of options available and we can help to determine which is right for you. From an old-style partnership to a limited liability partnership (LLP) with bespoke articles and a shareholders or partnership agreement.
We can help to deal with company re-organisations or the incorporation of a business previously run as a partnership. We also act for businesses in connection with loans, charges and debentures, as well as the acquisition or disposal of businesses whether by share sale or asset sale. We can also advise on some of the tax implications of such transactions, usually in conjunction with your accountants.
Using our knowledge and experience, we give our clients the freedom to run their business while we solve their legal issues.
We seek to build strong and continuing relationships with our clients by providing a personal service. We will always provide clear practical and fair advice with a focus on understanding your business and your commercial goals.
Our team of commercial law specialists is able to utilise the expertise of our other departments. Our commercial property team is on hand with assistance in relation to acquisitions and other property-related commercial matters. Where disputes may arise, our dispute resolution team can offer their expertise.
