Julie has over 30 years' experience advising clients on all aspects of property law and in particular commercial property law. Jonathan has practised in Newport since 1997. Matthew is a partner in the Monmouth office and specialises in property work including both residential and commercial work. Kate joined Jacklyn Dawson in April 2022. Kate advises on a number of non-contentious Private Client Matters including Wills, Lasting Powers of Attorney, Court of Protection and Probate. Kate is a full member of the Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners. STEP is a worldwide recognised organisation, and this is a qualification that few hold. In addition, Kate has obtained an Advanced Certificate in Will Preparation of which only a few Solicitors in the region hold. Kate feels that Will writing is too often considered a task that many can complete, when in fact, due to the ever complex case law surrounding Will writing, it is more than ever, a task in which legal advice should be sought. Emma joined Jacklyn Dawson in October 2023 and is based at our Monmouth office. Emma read her law degree at Bournemouth University, following which, she moved to South Wales to sit the Legal Practice Course at Cardiff University. Emma qualified as a Solicitor in 2017 and her main area of expertise is Residential Conveyancing, specifically freehold sales and purchases, including new builds, as well as leasehold matters comprising shared ownership, shared equity, lease extensions and deeds of variations. During her career Emma has established long term business relationships with Estate Agents and Property Developers throughout South Wales and the West of England. Emma also advises on non-contentious Private Client Matters including Wills and Lasting Powers of Attorney and, by taking a proactive approach, Emma ensures that she provides a personal service for all her clients.

Denize joined Jacklyn Dawson in January 2020 and is based in our Monmouth office. Having studied at Cardiff University, she has been in private practice since 2009. Since qualification in 2016 Denize has specialised in residential and commercial conveyancing. She has extensive experience in bridging finance and other forms of refinancing and auction sales and purchases. Denize is also experienced in other areas of law including wills and probate, private family matters and court of protection work. Clients report that Denize is professional, friendly and approachable. .

Tim, who practices from the Monmouth office, has been with the firm for 42 years. His is the Diocesan Registrar and Bishop's legal secretary for the Diocese of Monmouth. He also held the office of High Sheriff of Gwent for 2020/21. Tim no longer practices but continues with the firm in a consultancy basis.
